Increase your website contents without PageRank loss
When you add variable contents in your site the
SEs see it as more valuable and news-worthy. This fact forces the SE
spiders to visit more often to collect and index relevant
content. The downside to it, is the loss of PageRank caused by
outbound links. Nevertheless, most websites keep doing it, because
importing keyword-specific newsfeeds somehow attracts visitors.
With Delinker you can now edit the outgoing links in Newsfeeds or other
pages, to prevent the expensive "PageRank bleeding" effect while
keeping the favourable effect of enhanced contents.
Post a disclaimer before visitors leave your site
Completely erasing an outgoing link can be considered wrong by some
content providers, that could be deprived of a source of income. This is a
questionable issue that can only be decided by a Court. Only a negligible
part of those who use other`s content in this way face negative
consequences. And usually they have the chance of removing the offending
link or script as a sole compensation.
For this reason, you can modify the outgoing link in a way that it will
lead to the original source, but going thru an intermediate page in your
site. In that page, you can put a notice, ad, disclaimer or final message.
This will give you an additional boost to your sales message.
Besides, you won´t lose PageRank from the news-rich page, but from an
intermediate page that can be buried deep into your site, to prevent any
significant PageRank loss.
Get contents for your site and include your ads legally in millions of free RSS feeds
The RSS feeds come from almost every weblog, news site, portal or
forum. Some good sources for RSS are:
The Delinker Intermediate page is also a very convenient way to include
your ads, before your visitors leave your site.
An adapted version of an effective RSS fetcher called Zfeeder comes included with Delinker. It has a separate Open Source license.
Filter out unnecessary outgoing links
In some cases, the author of a valuable web material does not force you to
leave his outbound links intact. This occurs when no Terms and Conditions
information is provided in the RSS feed or web content, which happens to occur in most cases. It also occurs in those pages that are Public Domain, either because they contain Government material, because
the author died more than 50 years ago, or other reasons.
Delinking can also be considered a protection measure for those visitors
that could be leaded to illegal websites by links in your site. It is often agreed that webmasters should not publish links to illegal
sites, because they can have some responsibility for the consequences. You
can explain that in a disclaimer in the Intermediate page.
Most owner will never detect your feeding-delinking scheme. Most will not bother about it. In case they do, most copyright disputes can be settled by removing the offending contents. Delinker lets you do it with a few clicks.
We also recommend a proper disclaimer in the Header or Footer of your pages, such as ours:
This contents has been taken from a third party source, without permission, for experimental purposes. The links might have been delinked by our script. Some words and images might have been replaced. If the owner of the contents feels this small scale test causes any damage, we will honour his request for removal. Email to: so@so.com
Replace unnecessary images
This feature allows to:
-
Save bandwidth to you and your readers
-
Use your own (small) image and link
-
Capture visitors looking for current contents, inducing them to click on the images.
Increase your presence in the Search Engines
Most SEO (Search Engine Optimizing) companies and experts take a great
deal of effort in increasing the keyword density of your webpages, and
improving the linking structure of your site.
Since we do this all the time for our clients, we designed Delinker. We
considered several mechanisms:
- More webpages in your site
- More keywords
- More links to inside valuable pages
- Less HTML links to outside pages of any kind
- Nofollow attribute in HTML links to valuable, outside pages
- Variable contents
- Less outbound links in important pages of your site
- Pages without images, because they take up space and bandwidth, and
do not offer text to the SE spiders.
